About The Author Deborah Y. Anderson is a native of Charleston, SC. She is the youngest of five siblings, all others of whom were boys. It was through this experience of all male siblings that she inherited her drive and determination for fighting for what was right and succeeding in all endeavors. Deborah acquired a desire to work in the entertainment industry, and that desire became a love through which she developed many of the skills that she utilizes today. Deborah left Charleston to attend Erskine College. There she earned a BS degree. She then attended The University of Georgia where she earned an MED. Deborah went on to teach, on the middle and high school levels, for thirteen years. She finally decided to go with her first love and commit to working in the entertainment industry full time. As a result, she resigned from teaching to take a full time position at the helm of De'Vonne Entertainment, working in the areas of Music, Fashion, Comedy, Film, Television, and Video Production. Deborah has mastered the art of wearing many hats in the field in which she works. She is proud to now be a part of both De'Vonne Entertainment and De'Vonne Productions. Deborah authored the books, Marvin Gaye The Untold Chapter, and Getting Exactly What You Want in This Lifetime, Guidance for Creating Your Destiny. And now, her new book, Moving Out Of The Master’s House, A Mental You Haul, promises to make a positive impact that will change the world, as a whole, for the betterment of mankind. Deborah resides in Stone Mountain, GA, along with her husband of 25 years, Frank, and their three children Lane, Marci, And Denard. |
